¿La influenza es una gripa?

Influenza

Familia: aunque estemos cansados…

NO ES UN PEQUEñO NUMERO.

Flu

Family: even if we are tired… We have to have the information to be able to decide what is best for our family: let’s talk about the #Influenza

Influenza is not a flu. It is a virus that creates a major infection in our body. When we get infected, it lowers defenses, pains, fevers and can cause complications such as pneumonia, ear infections and other gifts.

At this time, which is out of season, according to @hhsgov data, we are having 1,300 hospitalizations a week for #Influenza. IT’S NOT A SMALL NUMBER. And if we combine pneumonia, Influenza and Covid, they are the cause of 8.7% of mortality in hospitals (which is abnormal for this time of year).

We have to remember that in the 2020 and 2021 seasons we had relatively quiet seasons. This reflects that there was another dominant virus and the measures we were taking.

For this reason: if they were considering getting the influenza vaccine, it is a good time to put it on. This vaccine can be given from 6 months of age to the vast majority of adults (AND if it can be given with the updated vaccine against C#v id.

You can go to your pharmacies, community centers or community clinics such as @AltaMedHealthS to be protected.

If you have more questions, we are here to help you. We have to take advantage of the fact that it is not yet high season. WE ALL WANT TO CELEBRATE SAFELY AND AS A FAMILY.
