After all most two years, running from the interns year to a second year, the final part of my Pediatric residency is coming to an end… And end or an INCREDIBLE BEGGINING???? Well, I’m planning to unite both of my professional passions: PEDIATRICS and PUBLIC HEALTH! I understand the first reaction: Are you a Doctor or a MPH??? The medical field has grown and expanded. There is a need of multicultural trained physicians, that have been involved in every step of the Health Care Network (from a little town in Mexico to the Head Quarters of the World Health Organization in Geneva), to provide a comprehensive view of the reality on the ground.
I firmly belive that training multicultural exposed physicians in a comprehensive multilevel approach of education can create alternative and empowering options for the current National and International challeges.
